• Student registration and cohortsStudents registered against a programme, year and cohort, with placement allocation history held against each record.
• Placement recordsEmployer, work area, supervisor, dates and agreed hours recorded for every student.
• Digital logbookStudents log tasks and hours. Entries require confirmation by a named workplace supervisor. Self-certification is not possible.
• Coordinator dashboardCohort progress at a glance, running hour totals against target, and flags where a student is behind or an entry is unconfirmed.
• Reporting and exportCohort reports exported in the formats supervisory agencies expect, generated rather than compiled by hand.
• Access control and audit trailRole-based access for student, supervisor, coordinator and employer. Every confirmation carries a name and a timestamp that cannot be edited afterwards.
• Verified portfolio exportStudents export their own record of tasks, competences and supervisor feedback, and keep it after they graduate.

In development Roadmap

These are planned, not delivered. They are listed so partners can plan, not so we can appear larger than we are.

• Assisted matchingSuggesting placements by discipline, location and availability, to reduce coordinator workload. Matching is currently done by our placement team.
• Offline-first USSD and SMSLogging and confirmation without a smartphone or data connection, for students on placement in areas with poor coverage.
• Student information system integrationDirect exchange with institutional systems, replacing file-based import and export.
• Employer recruitment toolsAllowing host employers to search the portfolios of students they have supervised.
